Our Approach

Law Within Reach is committed to improving access to the courts for our most vulnerable populations and the public at large. It is our mission to work with organizations that are truly committed to examining their practices and systems to find ways to become more effective at providing services, both from the standpoint of the user of those services and from an organizational perspective.

We work with programs to focus on their users and their experience, and help empower their staff with the necessary tools, knowledge, and compassion to do a better job more efficiently. Our first step is to help clients maximize existing resources to improve the delivery of services. In our experience, change can seem intimidating and even unrealistic, but simple “fixes” can often yield important positive results and significant progress can often be achieved with existing resources.

While we have a proven record of expertise and ability to work with diverse groups and interests, we encourage anyone considering working with us to talk frankly about their needs, expectations, and perceived challenges. We work with clients all over the United States. Depending on the services you require, we can work with you by phone, Skype, email, or in person. We are primarily located in the San Francisco Bay Area but for on-site services such as in-person training, comprehensive organizational assessments, and others, we can travel to your location anywhere in the country.
